MEDS celebrate Liverpool's grass roots business at GEC Fringe

By Eamonn Lavery

The Muslim Enterprise Development Service (MEDS) gala dinner proved a resounding success in the splendid surroundings of East z East restaurant at the King's Dock.

MEDS was set up a decade ago to help ethnic minorities, in the face of substantial challenges, get their businesses of the ground. The service has since expanded and represents a wide array of businesses from the Liverpool region and beyond.

Bay TV popped in and met MEDS's Executive Director about his company's journey, and guest speaker, boss of Leaf Tea Shop on Bold St, Natalie Haywood.
