Record Store Day 2012: Liverpool and beyond's independent Record and Zine Fair at WCS

This year's Record Store Day, April 21st 2012, is being marked with a number of events across the city, celebrating local independent music and art.

At Wolstenholme Creative Space in Wolstenholme Square there will be a fair with stalls hosted by labels from Liverpool's Kazimier Records to some of the largest names in independent music like Warp and ATP Records, and plenty more, including the best in zines, coffee and a bring your own records listening party.

Following the fair (which is free entry), will be a screening of "Sound it Out", a film about the very last record shop in Teesside. Tickets for the screening are £5 on their website:
