Liverpool Sea Odyssey giant diver Uncle in the Albert Dock

Thousands are flocking to the streets of Liverpool to see giant puppets take over the city to mark 100 years since the Titanic sank.

This is the Uncle 'diver' who was set to emerge from the Albert Dock in what is billed as the largest street theatre production ever staged on Merseyside.

The performance - which will last until Sunday - is called Sea Odyssey and has been developed by French street theatre company Royal de Luxe.
