Royal Court Liverpool unveils stage one of its renovation

It seems like a lifetime ago that the Royal Court Theatre closed its doors to the public back in January.
Now following £1.2 million of renovation work, the theatre has opened its doors to allow special guests to see how the money has been spent.

After receiving one of the biggest Heritage Lottery North West grants last December, the theatre has been undertaking a major makeover.

This will be the first phase and the Royal Court Liverpool Trust is hoping to raise a further £9.4 million to complete the restoration.
