GreenPrint Project set to transform North Liverpool
By Bethan HockeyA new initiative championed by the Mayor Joe Anderson is set to transform North Liverpool and South Sefton.
The GreenPrint for Growth initiative is designed to attract investors and visitors to the area, looking at both people and places and to create a new sense of neighbourhood identity for existing residents and businesses.
Over the next ten years GreenPrint aims to create the greenest city park in the UK, create more than 300 jobs and training opportunities, deliver 10 major projects and 1001 smaller projects, plant 10 trees for every resident and encourage all residents to contribute to the transformational project in their own way.
We spoke to Mayor Anderson’s cabinet member for regeneration, Cllr Malcolm Kennedy to find out more about the ambitious project.
