Lord John Prescott cut the ribbon at the celebrity opening of a business run by his nephew that has left a trail of angry creditors demanding answers.

The Mega Mart shopping centre in St Helens was the business plan of his nephew Colin Prescott, who could face legal action along with his former co-director Ted Ward, who operated under the false name of "Edward Pickering."
