Batala. Police of Thana Dera Baba Nanak recovered a packet of heroin from the fields of Bhagthana Tulia village. The consignment of heroin is said to have been sent from Pakistan. ASI Charanjit Singh said that Company Commander Anil Kumar informed the police that a packet full of heroin was recovered from Bhagthana Tulia village. ASI said that on receiving the information, he reached the spot with the police team and seized a packet of heroin wrapped in yellow tape. The packet weighed 494 grams. ASI said that action has been taken on the complaint of Anil Kumar and a case has been registered under the NDPS Act.
