The final venue of the Champions Trophy to be held in Pakistan next year can be changed if India reaches the title match. In the current schedule, the final is to be played in Lahore on March 9, but according to the Telegraph report, it can be shifted to Dubai on March 5. According to other information, the ICC is considering three options for organizing the tournament. These include the option of having the entire tournament in Pakistan, hybrid model and shifting the entire tournament. In case the tournament is shifted from Pakistan, UAE, Sri Lanka or South Africa can host it. The reason for this is that it is difficult to get permission from the Indian government to play the Champions Trophy in Pakistan.
